Vulcan Green Steel Oman is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainee

About Vulcan Green Steel (VGS): Vulcan Green Steel (VGS), the steel arm of Vulcan Green, is a newly established entity backed by the esteemed Jindal Group of Companies, India’s oldest and largest steel family with an illustrious 50-year history in steelmaking. Strategically located in the Al Wusta region of the Sultanate of Oman, VGS is set to be a ground-breaking greenfield steel complex with an initial capacity of 3 MTPA in Phase 1.

Role & Requirements:

• Role: GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee)
   
• Course:  B. Tech / B.E.
   
• Year of Passing: 2023
   
• Specializations:  Mechanical/ Electrical/ Metallurgy/ Civil
   
• Work Location:  Duqm, Oman
   
• Age criteria::  21 to 24
   
• Academic Percentage Criteria: Should be above 60% throughout academics
   
• Other requirements: Valid Passport and GAMCA fitness
   
• Any other filtering criteria for the selection of candidates: We would prefer 40% female candidates
   
• CTC: USD 21000 per annum
   
• Tentative date of joining:  Feb 2024 (subject to change based on the recruitment process)

• Stage 3: Technical Interview (Only for candidates clearing the Assessment)
   
• Stage 4: HR Interview
   
• Stage 5: Psychometric Test
   
• Stage 6: Document collection
   
• Stage 7: Offer Issuance
   
• Stage 8: Society of Engineering registration clearance
   
• Stage 9: Medical Fitness certificate (GAMCA)
   
• Stage 10: Work Permit approval
   
• Stage 11: Visa and onboarding in Oman DUQM
