Yuzhan Technology is hiring Trainee Engineer: Automation (Freshers)

• Job Type: 1-year trainee programme, with confirmation based on performance

• Location: ESR Industrial and Logistics Park, Varanavasi Village, Walajabad Taluk, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu

• Eligible batch: 2026 pass-outs

• Experience: Freshers

Open Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Automation

• Assist in implementing industrial automation systems.
• Handle PLC, HMI, SCADA and troubleshooting activities.
• Operate and maintain automated equipment, sensors and control systems.
• Help identify and resolve technical issues in automation processes.
• Coordinate with production, quality and engineering teams.
• Follow safety standards, quality procedures and company guidelines.

2. Electrical Automation

• Handle electrical systems, PLCs and control circuits.
• Work with sensors, actuators, electrical panel wiring and HMI controls.
• Gain basic knowledge of servo and stepper drives and industrial communication.

3. Mechanical Automation

• Work on robotics, motion control and mechanical design of machines.
• Understand conveyors, actuators and robot programming.
• Learn installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Gain hands-on experience with machine assembly.

4. Vision Automation

• Learn computer vision technologies for quality inspection.
• Work with cameras, sensors, algorithms and automation tuning.
• Assist in vision system integration for automated manufacturing.
• Fine-tune camera parameters and implement machine vision.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: 2026 graduates with an engineering degree

• Minimum marks: CGPA 6.5 or 65% aggregate (may vary based on company requirements)

Skills Required:

• Technical: Basic knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, AI-based inspection, machine vision and troubleshooting, as applicable to the role
• Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication and teamwork
