Naico ITS SmartCity is hiring Software Testers

Work Location: SmartCity, Kochi

Type of Employment: Contract for 6 months.

Requirements:

• Mandatory to have manual testing experience with working on web application or windows applications.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning, execution, and reporting of quality control activities for all new development cycles and releases.

• Review user stories, requirements, and technical design documents to provide feedback and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

• Design and implement end-to-end test scenarios, including automation scripts using open-source tools, and conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Identify, document, and track bugs, and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to address concerns and meet client needs.

• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases while reviewing quality metrics such as defect densities.

• Support UAT processes by addressing regional concerns and facilitating post-release testing.

• Research new tools and technologies to improve testing processes and ensure consistency in user interfaces.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct risk analysis, document test progress, and provide regular status reports to leadership.

• Support defect prevention activities and provide process improvement inputs for continuous improvement in QA processes.
