Infosys is hiring Specialist Programmer (Trainee)

Experience: 0 to 2 years

Salary range listed: 11 to 21 LPA

Work mode: Hybrid

Locations: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi/NCR

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack applications and enterprise-grade platforms using modern frameworks
• Apply AI in software engineering
• Work collaboratively in dynamic teams

Technology Areas:

• Java microservices: Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Cloud Foundry, Docker
• Big data and ML: Hadoop HDFS, Hive, Spark, Storm, Kafka, Spark MLlib, Azure ML
• Functional programming: Scala, Akka, Play
• Scripting and NoSQL: React.js, Angular.js, Express.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Cassandra
• DevOps and IoT: Puppet/Chef, Docker, Kubernetes/Mesos, Jenkins, Git, Jira, Maven/Gradle

Compensation:

• Specialist Programmer L3 (Trainee): INR 21 LPA
• Specialist Programmer L2 (Trainee): INR 16 LPA
• Specialist Programmer L1 (Trainee): INR 10 LPA plus INR 1 Lakh joining bonus

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Eligibility:

• UG/PG graduates from the 2024, 2025 or 2026 batch

Work experience:

• Up to 2 years (0 to 2 years)

Focus:

• Core programming as an individual contributor

Key Expectations:

• Write high-performance, high-quality, scalable and extensible code in procedural, object-oriented and script-oriented languages
• Provide solutions with minimum system requirements, working in Agile mode
• Work across multiple technology platforms and languages (application, integration, DB, specific OS), including performance tuning and modularity
• Co-create and develop new products and platforms for clients
• Contribute to open source and continuously upskill in the latest technologies
• Incubate tech user groups and hold internal and external meetups
• Contribute end to end, from requirements through testing to production-ready code
