Massive Job Opportunity For ITI & Polytechnic Candidates - Through Vijnanakeralam

• Vijnanakeralam is providing an opportunity to make them job-ready through skill training. The Labour Department & Vijnanakeralam have jointly developed an action program to provide employment to all students completing their studies this year in ITIs across the state and to former students who completed their studies in previous years and are still seeking employment.

Employment will be provided through two methods:

1. Guiding job seekers to employment through job fairs by providing skill training according to the available jobs
2. Providing employment through a 6 Month job training program based on the Recruit, Train & Deploy (RTD) model

Program Highlights:

• Vijnanakeralam has collected around 75,000 job opportunities exclusively for those with trade certificates under the leadership of K-DISC.
• All these job opportunities offer a monthly salary of more than Rs. 15,000.
• Students can choose suitable jobs for each institution based on their interests.
• Special kiosks will be set up in all ITIs for former students seeking employment.
• Students and former students of private ITIs are also included in this program.
• There are job opportunities for women who completed their studies and are staying home as housewives, and women who do not wish to work away from their area but prefer employment near their homes will be provided training and employment as part of the Multi-Task Skill Teams to be started under the leadership of Kudumbashree in all CDS units.
• A large-scale campaign is being implemented through this initiative to provide employment to all individuals who have acquired ITI certificates.
