The Local Government Bodies of Kerala offers Internship Opportunities

The Local Government offers Internship Opportunities in Every District at the District Panchayath, Block Panchayats, Municipalities, and Corporation Via, Vijnana Keralam

Number of Internship Vacancies: 600 (In All Districs of Kerala)

Eligibility:

Candidates below the age of 35 with a Postgraduate degree in the domains of:

• Management
• Social Work
• Anthropology
• Sociology
• Political Science
• Economics
• Development Studies
• Public Policy and Governance
• Public Administration
• Decentralisation and Local Governance

& B.Tech holders in different domains can also apply for the internship.

Internship Allowance:

There will be a rigorous screening exercise for selecting the interns for 1 year.

• Selected interns will be provided with a survival allowance of ₹15,000/- per month.
• Interns will also get opportunities to join various courses on platforms like Coursera.
• Opportunities to attend various capacity-building programmes will be provided.
• Selected candidates will receive a course certificate from Vijnana Keralam, considering the internship period as a course.
