Job Position: IT Support Engineer (Onsite - Level 1 IT Support)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Type: User Support & Desktop Support

Job Description:

  • Provide 1st line technical support, answering support queries via ticketing tool, phone, email, and remote support.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Portal, Intune Portal, and Office 365 account administration, such as creating an account, permissions, resetting passwords, or creating group accounts.
  • Perform break-fix repairs such as hard drives, power supplies, cooling fans, and RAM replacement.
  • Log incidents and maintain records of all calls from users using the designated tool.
  • Assisting L2 & L3 team members on IT projects planning and implementing.
  • Based on the client requirements for the events, setting the laptop, projector, speakers, video walls, and digital signage for playing the contents as requested.
  • Assist with laptop and mobile device set-up, OS customization, imaging using Acronis backup, and installation, as required.
  • Effectively made recommendations to IT users on the selection of hardware and software.
  • Resolve all escalated issues within SLA and support efforts to provide proactive support in the form of knowledge base articles and user training.
  • Maintain the company’s network infrastructure.
  • Networking and providing support for Windows and Macintosh.
  • Monitored daily backups, antivirus status, shared storage space, and network activity, adjusting network equipment and settings as needed.
  • Experienced with Remote Access, Remote Desktop, and VPN; create, configure, maintain, and delete network printers on/off server.

Technical Skills: Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019 (L1 Support), Windows cloud PC, AVD, Office 365 (L1 Support), Google Suite, MS Exchange 2013/2016, Manage Engine SDP, Desktop Central, Quick Assist, TeamViewer, Any Desk, Amy Admin, Kaseya, Go to Meeting, Microsoft Defender & Intune.

Certifications: CCNA/MCSA/MCSE.
