Job Positions : 

1. Assistant Secretary

Qualification : Educational Qualification : Subject to R 186(1)(ia) Co-operation Act. (1) A recognized university degree with 50% marks combined in all subjects and Co-operative Higher Diploma (HDC or HDC & BM of Kerala State Co-operative Nion or HD of National Council for Co-operative Training .C or HDCM) or successfully completed Subordinate (Junior) Personnel Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation) or B.Sc/M.Sc Co-operative from Kerala Agricultural University & Banking) or B.Com degree with not less than 50% marks in all subjects from any university recognized in Kerala and co-operation is optional.

2. Junior Clerk

Qualification : Educational qualification subject to 8.186(1)(ii) Cooperative Act. SSLC or equivalent qualification and course in Subordinate Personnel Co-operative Train (Junior Diploma in Co-operation) will be the basic qualification. For candidates belonging to Kasaragod district, Diploma in Cooperation Course (GDC) conducted by Karnataka State Co-operative Federation and Junior Diploma in Cooperation (DC) conducted by Kerala State Co-operative Union will be equivalent basic qualification for appointment in Sangam/Banks in the said district. and co-operative as an optional subject B.Com degree, or in any case a degree from a recognized university and a higher diploma in co-operatives (HDC or HDC and BM of Kerala State Co-operative Union, or National Council for Co-operative of Training (HDC or HDCM) or successfully completed Subordinate Personnel Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation), or having B.Sc (Co-operation & Banking) of Kerala Agricultural University Can be applied for.

* Candidates sending applications under notification 9/2023 and 10/2023 should submit applications for both the notifications in separate envelopes.

1. Age limit is 18 (Eighteen years) and not more than 40 (Forty years) as on 1/1/2023. A relaxation of five years is allowed in the upper age limit for Scheduled Castes (Scheduled Tribes). Five years relaxation in upper age limit for children of beneficiaries, three years relaxation for Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen, Economically Backward Sections (EWS) in general category, ten years relaxation for differently abled persons and five years relaxation for widows. 

2. The OMR exam conducted by the Cooperative Examination Board is of 80 marks. A candidate who is shortlisted by a group of banks will be interviewed for a maximum of 15 marks in that group. If you appear for the interview, you will get minimum 3 marks. Remaining 12 marks are for interview performance.

3. Candidates can apply to more than one group and banks. For general category candidates including those eligible for age relaxation (Rule 183(1) of Co-operation), an additional examination fee of Rs.150 per group/bank and Rs.50 for each subsequent group/bank shall be paid. For Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes category an additional examination fee of Rs.50 per group/bank in the application and Rs.50 per subsequent group/bank is required. For applying to more than one group/bank only one application form and one Chellan Demand Draft need to be submitted. The application fee can be paid directly by visiting the branches of Federal Bank, Kerala State Cooperative Bank (Kerala Bank). (Required Chellan is given along with the application form on the website of the Cooperative Service Examination Board. Alternatively, only a demand draft payable in the name of the secretary of the Cooperative Service Examination Board in Thiruvananthapuram from Malappuram District Cooperative Bank and State Bank of India and payable as per CTS will be accepted as examination fee. Only demand drafts taken during the notification period shall be considered for the respective examination in respect of the detailed fee, which shall contain the contents and that information shall be shown separately in the application.
