Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out testing of raw materials (coarse/fine aggregates, fly ash (PFA) at a stipulated frequency in Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and whenever required.
• Visually inspect and/or test every incoming delivery of coarse and fine aggregates for its quality before acceptance.
• Conduct daily testing of concrete specimens.
• Remove cube specimen to be tested on the day from curing tank and wipe off surface water, grit and projected fins, if any.
• Receive certificate of sampling (FT7) from Field Technicians, verify and ensure that all relevant details are filled
• Ensure that all tests are carried out as per procedures given in Business Operating System (BOS) and in Indian standards.
• Check moisture content in coarse and fine aggregates daily and enter it into COMMAND Batch.
• Inform and invite every customer to witness testing of concrete specimens.
• Inform STO/Technical Officer regularly of test/trial results and seek guidance for further action.
• Regularly prepare test reports for all raw materials in approved formats as per the instructions of Technical Officer.
• Prepare Concrete Test Reports for every sample of concrete and send to Technical Officer for necessary action.
• Maintain records, documentation and filing systems on the testing of all incoming raw materials as well as concrete.
