Job Description:

APJ 3D Design Solutions India is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)/Junior Design Engineer

Batch & Experience: Freshers (2026 Pass-outs) or candidates with up to 1 year of experience

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

Department: Engineering Design

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic knowledge of CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
• Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work on challenging engineering projects

Skills:

• Knowledge of sheet metal, plastic components, or product design
• Exposure to CAD software through academic projects or internships
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Interest in reverse engineering, 3D scanning, and product development

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA, NX, and Creo
• Support product design, sheet metal, plastic, and trim development projects
• Assist in reverse engineering activities using 3D scan data and point cloud data
• Participate in concept development, design reviews, and engineering documentation
• Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and design reports
• Perform basic design validation and quality checks
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project teams; follow engineering standards and GD&T practices
• Support prototype development and product improvement activities
