GMap is hiring Draftsman

Location: Kozhikode (Calicut), India

Department: Processing & Analysis

Job Summary:

GMap is seeking a skilled Draftsman to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in survey drawings for various applications such as topographic mapping and as-built drawings. The Draftsman will collaborate closely with the Processing & Analysis team to deliver high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare survey drawings including topographic maps and as-built drawings.
• Use drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation to create accurate and detailed designs.
• Interpret and process geospatial data with a strong understanding of coordinate systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Analyze survey data and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Provide technical support and documentation related to drafting and analysis tasks.

Qualifications:

• ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in drafting and analysis, preferably in land surveys.
• Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).
• Knowledge of geospatial concepts and coordinate systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and programming languages (e.g., AutoLISP) is a plus.

• Collaboration with project offices in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.
