Brief description :

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Control System Engineer to join our team as a Fresher. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to kick-start their career in the field of drone-based robotics and automation.

Duties & Responsibilities :

* Responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing, and implementation of control systems for cutting-edge drone-based robotic platforms. 

* Work closely with a team of experienced engineers to ensure the seamless integration of control algorithms and hardware components. This role will provide you with hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of control system engineering in the field of drone-based robotics platforms. 

* Developing control algorithms and strategies for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drone-based applications., ensuring optimal performance, stability, and efficiency.

* Conduct thorough analysis, modeling, and simulation of dynamic systems to enhance control performance and stability.

* Creating mathematical models and simulations to analyse and predict the behaviour of robotic systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drone-based applications.

* Implementing control algorithms and strategies using programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and integrating them into the overall robotic/drone system software.

* Conducting experiments and tests to validate the performance and functionality of control systems, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system parameters.

* Working closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical/electronics engineers, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of control systems into robotic and drone platforms.

* Maintaining clear and concise documentation of control system designs, specifications, test plans, and results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

* Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in control system theory, algorithms, and industry trends, and contributing to the company's innovation and research initiatives.  

Key Skills : 

* Knowledge of feedback control, PID controllers, state-space models, stability analysis, and system identification.

Understanding kinematics, dynamics, robot programming, and sensor integration.

* Knowledge of various drone platforms, including multirotors and fixed-wing drones. Understanding their components, flight dynamics, navigation systems, and payloads. 

* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB is essential. 

* Knowledge of software development tools, version control systems, and simulation environments (e.g., ROS - Robot Operating System) will be advantageous.

* Knowledge in integrating and working with sensors commonly used in drones, such as GPS, inertial measurement units (IMUs), cameras, LIDAR, and ultrasonic sensors. Understanding sensor data processing techniques and calibration procedures.

* Familiarization with machine learning algorithms and computer vision techniques. These skills will be valuable for tasks such as object detection, tracking, and autonomous navigation.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

* Understanding the safety considerations and regulations surrounding drone operations. Familiarization with relevant local laws, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance and safe operations.

Preferred skills :

* Basic qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering                                     

* Added advantage for Additional qualifications: Diploma or Professional Certification in UAV/Drone/Robotics Technology

Skills required: 

* Able to communicate at all levels.

* Able to work independently. 

* Attention to detail. 

* Methodical & logical. 

* Enthusiasm and willingness to get hands-on.

* Experience: Fresher
