Cochin Shipyard is hiring Executive Trainees in Various Disciplines

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ Company of Government of India, invites Online Applications from young professionals, for filling up the posts of Executive Trainees in the following disciplines:

Positions:

1. Executive Trainee (Mechanical):

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
• Number of Vacancies: 20

2. Executive Trainee (Electrical):

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
• Number of Vacancies: 04

3. Executive Trainee (Electronics):

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
• Number of Vacancies: 02

4. Executive Trainee (Naval Architecture):

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Naval Architecture with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
• Number of Vacancies: 06

5. Executive Trainee (Civil):

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
• Number of Vacancies: 03

6. Executive Trainee (Information Technology):

Educational Qualification:

Essential:

• Degree in Engineering in Computer Science with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university
  OR
  Degree in Engineering in Information Technology with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university
  OR
  Master’s Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.

Desirable:

• Valid certification from reputed agencies/organizations on Programming Language, DBMS, Networking, or ERP Systems.

7. Executive Trainee (Human Resource):

Educational Qualification:

Two year Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree or equivalent Diploma or Post Graduate Degree in any of the following areas, with minimum of 65% marks from a recognized University:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in HR or equivalent Degree/Diploma with specialization in HR
  OR
  Post Graduate Degree in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management or Labour Welfare & Industrial Relations
  OR
  Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management.

8. Executive Trainee (Finance):

• Educational Qualification: Pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
• Number of Vacancies: 03

Place of Posting:

• The posting of Executive Trainees shall be at CSL, Kochi/CMSRU, Mumbai/CKSRU, Kolkata/ CANSRU, A&N Islands.

Age Limit: 

• The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall be 27 years as on 06 January 2025, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 07 January 1998.

​​​​Compensation & Benefits:

• The candidate selected as Executive Trainee will undergo 1 year of training with a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000/month.
   
• On successful completion of the training, the Executive Trainee will be considered for appointment as Assistant Manager in E-1 Grade in the pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000.
