Job Description:

CMD is recruiting Industrial/Mechanical engineers

The Centre for Management Development (CMD), an autonomous institution under the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala is in search of suitable Industrial/Mechanical Engineers experienced/interested in Industrial Engineering activities.

Educational Qualification M Tech/B Tech in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from reputed & recognised institutions.

Knowledge & Experience:

Knowledge: The ideal candidates shall have very good knowledge of various Industrial Engineering Techniques with appropriate exposure to Work Study and Manpower Assessment methodologies. The incumbent should have good writing skills in English, adequate computer skills and be a team player.

Experience: The candidates should have experience of one to two years (or more) in carrying out Industrial Engineering activities, especially, Work Study and Manpower Assessment tasks in Companies, Government Institution/Agencies or other Institutions, where the job responsibilities included Time & Motion Study, Manpower Assessment, Process/Work Flow improvements, Job Scheduling, Data Analysis, Report preparation, etc.

Freshers who are interested in the above types of projects/activities can also apply.

Terms of Engagement Duration: The current engagement will be on a temporary/project basis for a period of 6 months. The tenure is extendable based on performance and suitability.

Remuneration: The remuneration shall be in the range of Rs. 18,000/- to Rs.30,000/- per month (consolidated) based on qualification, experience and suitability.
