Positions:

1. Tester - Apprentice (Internship)

Location: Pune, Hyderabad & Chennai

Education:

• BE/B.Tech (CS/IS/IT/ECE/ETC/EE/Circuit Branches) with programming knowledge mandatory

Job Summary:

Birlasoft is seeking proactive and enthusiastic IT Service Delivery Apprentices (Interns) to join their team. The Apprentice (Intern) will assist in delivering high-quality IT services to their clients and internal teams. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT service management and delivery.

Preferred Skills:

• Sound knowledge of any of the programming languages: Java/JavaScript/Python/C# scripting

• Knowledge of using SQL queries on databases for extracting and analyzing application data

• Basic knowledge of various testing concepts and practices such as STLC, different testing types, test optimization techniques, etc.

• Understanding of test automation frameworks using Selenium, UFT, or other industry-proven testing tools

• Understanding of Agile Methodology - Sprint Planning, Retrospective, Burn Down, defect triage, etc.

• Certification: ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications would be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing test cases based on requirements

• Assist in developing the automation scripts

• Execute the test cases as per the test plan

• Identify, report, and track defects found during the testing cycle

• Prepare and manage test data for testing

• Participate in defect triage meetings

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient deliveries

Role: Apprentice (Intern)

Eligibility Criteria:

• 60% overall education

• Year of graduation: 2024/2025

• BE/B.Tech (CS/IS/IT/ECE/ETC/EE/Circuit Branches) with programming knowledge mandatory

• Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good document writing skills and SOP preparation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

• No standing backlogs

• Mandatory - Flexible for any location

• Ready to work in any shift, technology, and role

Stipend: Rs. 32,875 per month

2. Infra-Non-Engineering Apprentice (Internship)

Location: Bangalore, Chennai

Education:

• BSc. IT/CS/Maths or BCA with Programming language mandatory.

Job Summary:

Birlasoft is seeking proactive and enthusiastic IT Service Delivery Freshers to join their team. Freshers will assist in delivering high-quality IT services to their clients and internal teams. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT service management and delivery.

Preferred Skills:

• Good understanding of operating systems (Windows, Unix), Cloud

• Good understanding of a programming language/scripting

• Basic knowledge of Networking, Cyber Security principles

• Familiarity with SDLC, IT service management concepts

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by users or detected through monitoring systems. This could involve Datacenter, Cloud Infra, network, or security issues.

• Manage infrastructure services and operations for on-premises and cloud-based technologies.

• Manage and operate infrastructure and operations in line with service and experience level agreements.

• Maintain reliable and secure IT infrastructure.

• Identify ways to continually improve services and increase operational effectiveness.

• Manage and govern ongoing service delivery and enhancements.

Role: Apprentice (Intern)

3. Infra-Engineering Apprentice (Internship)

Location: Pune/Bangalore/Chennai

Education:

• BE/B.Tech (CS/IS/IT/ECE/ETC/EE/Circuit Branches) with programming knowledge mandatory

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cloud infrastructure services and DevOps operations for cloud-based technologies and infrastructure operations

• Identify ways to continually improve services and increase operational effectiveness
