Ajfan is hiring Finance Manager

Location: Hotel Chef Lebanon, Kottakkal

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA) are preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in financial software, including accounting systems, budgeting tools, and financial modeling software.

• Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and hospitality industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the hotel's strategic objectives.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Accounting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

4. Cost Control and Profitability: Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profitability improvement. Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.

5. Cash Management: Manage the hotel's cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and ensuring adequate liquidity.

6. Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotel's assets and prevent financial misstatements.

7. Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of finance professionals, including accountants, auditors, and financial analysts.

8. Audit and Risk Management: Coordinate external audits, identify and mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.

9. Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions, including market trends, competitor analysis, and financial modeling.

10. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Director of Finance.
