Job Description:

A Reputed Firm is hiring Freight & Logistics Finance Analyst

Qualification: MBA/M.Com

Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Freight Audit, Logistics Finance, or Supply Chain Finance

Compensation: As per industry standards

Skills:

• Good understanding of accounting, invoice verification, and financial controls
• Experience with QAD or another ERP system is preferred
• Knowledge of international freight processes (air, ocean, and road transportation) is an advantage
• Understanding of Incoterms, freight rates, surcharges, customs charges, demurrage, and detention is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Review all applicable freight invoices before posting
• Verify invoice details and supporting shipment documents against agreed contracts and rates
• Identify duplicate invoices, incorrect charges, and billing errors
• Follow up with suppliers to resolve invoice disputes and obtain credit notes
• Post approved invoices in QAD with correct accounting details
• Maintain accurate invoice records and supporting documents
• Prepare freight cost reports and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Work with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and logistics suppliers
• Suggest improvements to invoice checking and financial control processes
