Job Description:

A Reputed Firm is hiring Production Support Engineer Intern

Batch: 2027/2026 

Location: Chennai

Duration: 3 Months PAID Internship

Industry: Financial Services/Lending Technology

Qualification: Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day operations of live loan processing applications and related systems.
• Monitor application health, batch jobs, and schedulers to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Respond to and assist with user and business queries received through email, WhatsApp, and ticketing platforms.
• Investigate production incidents and assist in troubleshooting issues within defined service timelines.
• Analyze application logs and database records to identify and resolve system issues.
• Track failed transactions, job failures, and integration-related issues.
• Support loan disbursement, repayment processing, EMI generation, and related business workflows.
• Assist in data validation and operational support activities.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams to resolve production issues.
• Prepare incident reports and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for critical issues.
• Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
• Participate in application release support and operational monitoring activities.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of application logs and troubleshooting concepts.
• Awareness of APIs, JSON, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of batch processing, schedulers, and monitoring tools is an added advantage.

Preference:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to learn production support processes and financial technology systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
