Job Description:

A Reputed Firm is hiring Senior Design & Estimation Engineer - MEP/Fire & Safety

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or related Engineering discipline

Experience: Relevant experience in MEP/Fire Protection & Safety

Salary: ₹6 LPA - ₹12 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Design fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, hose reels, fire alarm systems)
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings, hydraulic calculations, BOQs, and material take-offs
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and technical proposals
• Review tender documents, drawings, and project specifications
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, and applicable fire safety standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations and support material selection
• Provide technical support to project execution teams
• Lead and coordinate the design and estimation team

Skills:

• Experience in Fire Protection System Design & Estimation
• Good knowledge of firefighting, sprinkler, hydrant, fire alarm, and suppression systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and hydraulic calculations
• Experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and material take-offs
• Good communication, analytical, and team management skills
