Job Description:

Virtusa is hiring Java Associate Engineer (Freshers 2025 Passouts)

Primary Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Experience: Fresher

Primary Skills: Spring Cloud

Responsibilities:

• Learn & work with Java to develop efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Write clean and maintainable code.
• Assist in the development and testing of applications.
• Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges.

Eligibility:

Students graduating in 2025 with degrees in:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
• Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
• Master of Engineering (ME)
• Master of Technology (MTech)
• Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Specializations: IT, ECE, EEE, CSE, or related streams.

Academic Performance:

• 60% & above throughout academic studies with no backlogs.

Skills:

• Good understanding of Core Java concepts.
• Basic knowledge of databases and version control tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Details:

Citizenship Requirements:

• Must hold United States, United Kingdom, or Canada citizenship, passport, or permanent residence.
• Willingness to relocate to the UK, US, or Canada after training.

Internship Opportunity:

• Shortlisted candidates will receive an internship opportunity during their final semester.

Service Agreement:

• A two-year service agreement is required upon joining Virtusa.
• One-year waiver is provided if the candidate pursues higher studies.
