Job Description:

TCS is hiring Trainee Instructional Designer

Qualification: 

• Candidates from the Batch of 2025 & 2024 with Full Time Graduation or Post Graduation Courses recognized by a state or Private university under the below disciplines are eligible (Bachelors/Master in Arts, Mass Media, Content creation & PR, Social media, Digital marketing, publishing, English Literature, Journalism, Communication, Foreign language Skill or Sociology)

Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years

Percentage: 50% and above marks throughout the academics (10th, 12th, Diploma, UG, PG, if applicable)

Courses: Only full time courses are considered

NIOS: Students who have completed their Secondary and / or Senior Secondary course from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the other courses are full time.

Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: 

• No backlogs/arrears/ATKT/Extended Education Kindly note, appearing in backlog examinations after the stipulated course duration is considered as extended education.

Gap/Break in Education: 

• It is mandatory to declare academic gaps if any, during the period of education. Break in education should not be due to extended education. Any break in education should not exceed 24 months. Relevant document proof, as applicable to be produced for validation of reasons behind academic gap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undergo structured training in instructional design principles, learning technologies, and tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, etc.)
• Assist in designing storyboards, scripts, and eLearning modules
• Support the development of digital learning content (videos, assessments, job aids, etc.)
• Conduct content research and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Learn to apply instructional models like ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Gagné’s Nine Events
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and design discussions
• Review and revise learning materials based on feedback

Desired Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail
• Basic understanding of teaching/learning principles
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word)
• Curiosity and a strong willingness to learn new tools and concepts
• Ability to take feedback positively and work collaboratively in a team

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, Canva, etc.)
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Prior internship or project in training or content creation
