Job Description:

St. Joseph’s Mission Hospital is hiring Medical Scribe - Ultrasonography (USG)

Location: St. Joseph’s Mission Hospital, Mananthavady, Wayanad, Kerala

Department: Ultrasonography (USG)

Job Type: Full Time

Experience: 1 - 3 years

Experience Requirement: Healthcare experience mandatory

Qualification: Graduate/Diploma

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the radiologist during USG examinations by accurately documenting patient and examination details.
• Record clinical history, presenting complaints, provisional diagnosis and relevant investigations in the system.
• Prepare and format USG reports according to approved departmental reporting standards.
• Accurately enter measurements, observations, anatomical findings and other relevant clinical information.
• Verify patient identification, examination type and demographic details before finalizing reports.
• Review reports for completeness, accuracy, spelling and formatting without altering the clinical interpretation.
• Assist in managing the USG reporting workflow to ensure timely report completion and patient turnaround.
• Follow hospital policies, departmental SOPs, medical documentation standards and NABH requirements.
