Job Description:

Spericorn hiring Finance Executive

The role of Finance Executive is to prepare financial reports in order to assess the financial performance of the business. The Finance Executive will be responsible for assisting the business to implement efficient and diligent financial practices. The Person is heavily involved in the day to day running of the company accounts, with the responsibility of making observations of the financial state of the organisation.
 

Duties:

Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable and general accounting.
Experience in working with GST filing and other related activities.
Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities.
Prepare financial statements and debtors' listings.
Verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management.
Ensure correct taxation are applied on all billings.
Follow up 30 days after the initial billing if payment has not been received.
Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow.
Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
Maintain banking relationships merchant services.
Maintains files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.
Preparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities.
Preparing and presenting financial reports for meetings.
Review revenue and expense account analysis and bank reconciliation and oversee fixed asset management .
Approves all journal entries and accruals prepared by general ledger accountants and manage the month end closing. Review and prepare annual internal and external auditing schedules and coordinate audit activities.
Design and implement procedures for joint venture accounting systems.
