SL Lumax India Engineering Center is hiring Design Trainee (R&D)

Job Position: Design Trainee (R&D)

Qualification: B.E & B.Tech (Mech, Auto, EEE, ECE)

Pass out: 2025 to 2026 only

Experience: 0 to 1 Year

Location: Tamil Nadu

Mechanical Requirements:

• CATIA V5 certification - mandatory (Part Design, Surface, Assembly & Drafting)
• Automotive lighting systems & component knowledge
• Design & develop lighting components using CATIA V5
• Manage CAD data using PDM/PLM systems
• Coordinate with customers & internal stakeholders
• Strong technical communication & problem-solving skills

Electronics Requirements:

• Circuit & PCB design for automotive lighting/electrification products
• 2/4-layer PCB layout, routing & DFM/DFA
• LDM, DC-DC Buck/Boost, LED control & power supply design
• H/W design: SBW, A/T, AMT, BMS, CPD & SCU
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, SPI, I²C & HV/analog design
• Tools: Cadence Allegro/OrCAD | PSpice - added advantage
