Job Description:
Rajagiri College Of Social Sciences is hiring Programme Coordinator
Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, invites applications for the post of Programme Coordinator for a project titled "Strengthening Child Protection Services in Kerala", implemented in collaboration with Mission Vatsalya, Department of Women and Child Development, Govt. of Kerala.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Child Development, Management Studies, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the development sector.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Malayalam.
Position Details:
- Type: Contractual position for the duration of the project, initially for a period of 7 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
- Salary: Attractive and based on previous salary drawn.
- Location: Based in Kochi, Kerala, with travel to other locations as required by the project.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating Capacity-Building Programs:
- Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives for various stakeholders in child protection services.
- Develop training modules, materials, and resources on relevant topics related to child protection.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and resource persons to deliver high-quality training programs.
2. Conducting Reviews and Workshops:
- Plan and execute periodic reviews of the project's progress, achievements, and challenges.
- Facilitate workshops to gather inputs, feedback, and recommendations from stakeholders.
- Analyze data and information from reviews and workshops to inform project strategies and activities.
3. Training Assessments:
- Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collect and analyze data from training participants to measure the impact and outcomes of capacity-building initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting key findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement.
- Follow up assessments and support for quality improvement.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, training sessions, workshops, and reviews.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Document best practices, case studies, and success stories related to the project.
5. Coordination with Stakeholders:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including Mission Vatsalya, government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives and activities.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather inputs and address concerns.
6. Planning and Execution of Project Activities:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in consultation with stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of project activities, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges during project execution.
- Monitor project progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure timely completion of activities.
7. Other Duties:
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the project leadership or as required for the successful implementation of the project.
