•Postal Assistant (Circle Office and Regional Offices) - 2738 vacancies

•Postal Assistant (In the Foreign Post Organisations in Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai) - 457 vacancies

•Postal Assistant (Savings Bank Control & Internal Check Organisations) - 3265 vacancies

•Postal Assistant (Post Office) - 69996 vacancies

•Sorting Assistant (Railway Mail Service) - 17694 vacancies

Total - 94150 vacancies

The posts are distributed amongst 23 postal circles including Kerala

Age: Between 18 - 27 yrs (Relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes and for Government servants of different categories in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time-to-time).

Qualification: (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institute; and (ii) Knowledge of working on Computer.

Note: Educational qualification shall continue to be 10+2 pass from a recognised Board for person holding the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks on regular basis on the date of notification of these rules.
