NTT DATA Services currently seeks a “Graduate Trainee Engineer” to join our Office/Team across locations.

Role: Graduate Trainee Engineer

Location: Mumbai/Pune/NCR/Kolkata/Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/Kochi

Type of work: WFO working (100% work from office)

Role Overview:

• Will Work in a 24 X 7 Environment (NOC).
• Will support the customer over email as well as phone.
• Will be responsible for the uptime of the various client projects being managed/monitored.
• Monitors client infrastructure and solutions.
• Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur.
• Routinely identify common incidents and opportunities for avoidance as well as general opportunities for incident reduction.
• Investigate first-line incidents assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems.
• Fulfil approved requests following agreed procedures.
• Provide telephonic or chat support to clients when required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

On-field, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Should be flexible for a role that is operational 24*7 and not limited to general (Day) Shift.
• Attend multiple client’s tickets by visiting onsite at respective client locations.
• Engineers should have a willingness to learn and work on multiple technologies as per organization requirements.
• We will ensure to provide basic-level training on routing, switching, and security technologies to begin with.
• On ground Engineer will have to work on the rack-stack of devices, installation, and physical level troubleshooting, new configuration, and changes to it by connecting the console to the device.

Certifications and Accreditations:

The graduate trainee, over the period of his/her internship with the company, is required to gain one or more certifications relevant to services supported, as listed below:

• Trained or Certified (preferred) on Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing and Switching (CCNA-R/S)
• IP, WINS, DHCP, DNC etc. understanding.
• Should be conversant as a user on MS-Office, MS-Outlook
• MS-Windows Server (preferred)/MS-Windows XP Professional/MS-Windows Terminal Server
• Switches and Routers
• Basic understanding of Cisco Firewalls, Switches and Routers
• MCSA, RHCE or equivalent

Compensation:

• BE/B.Tech - 3.5 L pa
• Bsc/BCA - 2.5 L pa
