NSIL (NewSpace India) has Released a Notification for 47 Project Scientist, Project Engineers & Project Assistant Posts

Post Name: Project Scientist, Project Engineer & Project Assistant

Place of Posting: Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Coimbatore

Employment Type: Contract Basis

Number of Vacancies:

1. Project Scientist PS-01 - 22 Posts
2. Project Engineers PE-01 - 15 Posts
3. Project Assistant PA-01 - 10 Posts

Total Number of Vacancies: 47

Age Limit for NSIL: (As on 30.11.2025)

• Project Scientist: 40 years
• Project Engineers: 35 years
• Project Assistant: 35 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: Is Applicable For Reserved Categories

Pay Scale:

• Project Scientist: Rs. 72,800/- per month
• Project Engineers: Rs. 60,000/- per month
• Project Assistant: Rs. 30,000/- per month

Educational Qualification for NSIL:

• Project Scientist PS-01 - Doctoral Degree in Science (Agriculture, Environmental, Geospatial) or Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology (Remote Sensing/GIS/Geoinformatics/Agricultural Engineering/Civil Engineering or equivalent) from a recognized university. First class in both Graduation and Post Graduation are mandatory. The class mentioned in the original certificate issued by the respective university would be only considered. With one year working experience in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geospatial Data Analysis in Agriculture.

• Project Engineers PE-01 - B.Tech or BE in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Mechanical/Aerospace With one year working experience in Test & Evaluation/QA activities of Avionic packages/QA activities of Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems. Workforce shall possess sufficient operational knowledge in using electronic equipment like DMM, Function Generator, Oscilloscope etc.

• Project Assistant PA-01 - Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Mechanical With one year working experience in Test & Evaluation/QA activities of Avionic packages/QA activities of Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems. The workforce shall possess sufficient operational knowledge in using electronic equipment like DMM, Function Generator, Oscilloscope etc.
