Job Description:

Kerala Police (Armed Police Battalion) is hiring Armed Police Sub Inspector (Trainee).

Scale of pay : ₹ 45600 – 95600/-

Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment

   I. Category No. 672/2022 : Open Market

   II. Category No.673/2022 : Constabulary, [From among the Graduate Head Constables, Police Constables and officers of corresponding rank in Police or Vigilance Department]

 

Age limit: 

Category - I [Open Market] : 20-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.

Category - II  [Constabulary] : 20-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply

 

Qualifications:

1) Educational Qualifications:- Must be a Graduate.

In the case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates, if sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed PreUniversity/ Pre-Degree or equivalent Examination of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (I).

2) Physical Qualification:-

(i) Height – 167 cm (Taller persons will be given preference)

(ii) Chest Measurement – 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm

 

Probation:-

Every person appointed to service after completion of training shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
