Job Description:

Kerala Police is hiring Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion).

Educational Qualification :

Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable.

**Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates who have failed in the HSE examination (Plus Two) shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates are not available to fill up the quota of Police Constables reserved for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes**

 

Physical Qualifications:

(i) Height : A minimum of 168 cm.

(ii) Chest : A minimum of 81 cm and with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

 

Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100-66,800/-

Age limit : 18-26. Candidates born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post.

** Maximum age limit shall be relaxed upto 29 years for OBC candidates , 31 years for SC/ST candidates and 41 years for Ex-service men. [For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para 2(i) of the General Conditions.] Other conditions regarding age relaxation in Para (2) of the General Conditions are not applicable to this selection.**
