Job Summary:

Kalpex Agro Extracts LLP is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemist to join their team in Ambanoly, Kodakara, Thrissur. The ideal candidate will conduct experiments, analyze chemical compounds, and contribute to the development of new agro-based products. This role requires a strong background in chemistry, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products through rigorous testing.
• Perform laboratory experiments and research to develop and improve agro-extract products.
• Analyze and interpret data using various analytical techniques.
• Document research findings and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and refine extraction processes.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to chemical processes and equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in chemistry and agro-extraction technologies.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc/M.Sc. in Chemistry/Food Technology/Biochemistry from a recognized university.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of chemical principles, laboratory practices, and analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in agro-extracts, food processing, or related industries.
• Knowledge of extraction techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office).

Job Specification: Chemist

Educational Qualifications:

Essential:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized university.

Experience (Essential):

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or chemical industry setting.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in laboratory techniques such as titration and spectroscopy (IV-V).
• Experience with laboratory safety protocols and SOPs.
• Ability to prepare and present detailed reports on research findings.
