Indian Space Research Organization is hiring Light and Heavy Vehicle Drivers

Job Positions :

1. Heavy Vehicle Driver

* No. of Vacancies : 9 Nos 

* Salary : 19,900/- to 63200/-

* Reserved for : UR = 5 nos/ OBC = 2Nos/ SC= 1nos/ EWS= 1

* Out of 9, 1 post  is reserved for Ex-servicemen.

Qualifications : 

1.     Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.

2.     Must possess valid LVD license.

3. 3 years’ experience as Light Vehicle Driver.

Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Kerala State should be met within 3 monthS after the candidate joins the posts.

Physical requirements : S, SE, ST, W, BN, MF, C, BA, BL

2. Heavy Vehicle Drivers

* No. of Vacancies : 9 Nos

1.     Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.

2.     Must possess valid HVD license.

3.     Must possess valid Public Service Badge.

In case Public Service Badge is not mandatory in any State(s) /Union Territory(ies) candidates from such  State(s) /Union Territory(ies) should meet this requirement within 3 months of joining the post.

4.     5 years’ experience out of which minimum 3 years as Heavy Vehicle Driver and the balance period driving experience of light motor vehicle.

Notes :

SC : 40 years

ST : 35 years

EWS : 35 years

* Minimum age is 18 years for all posts.

* Ex-Servicemen, Disabled Defence Services personnel, Meritorious Sportspersons, Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders.

Fee Payment details : Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay Rs.500 as application fee. Female / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Ex-servicemen [EX-SM] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates will be refunded full fee subject to the condition that the candidates should appear in the written test. For other candidates, an amount of Rs.400 will be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing written test. Fee may be paid online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking/ UPI only through Integrated SBI ePay facility.

* In this regard, the applicants belonging to the following categories are required to upload their relevant certificates as follows :

1.     SC/ST candidates – SC/ST certificate

2.     Ex-servicemen candidates – Discharge certificate

3.     PwBD candidates – Disability certificate

* The selection process consists of two levels ie (1) written test and (2) skill test
