IIT Palakkad has Multiple Job Vacancies.

1) Audio/Video Technician (On Contract)

No. of Posts: 02

Desirable Qualification and Experience:  

● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in film editing, video production, digital media, mass communications, computer technology, computer applications or related areas.

● Good English communication skills

● Usage of open-source softwares for video editing and graphics is an added advantage. 

Job Profile: 

IIT Palakkad is looking for talented AV Technicians to support the teaching and learning activities of IIT Palakkad. As an AV Technician, you should be able to handle the following independently.

● Setting up and operation of AV Equipments such as projectors, audio mixers and microphones.

● Operation of VC systems.

● Photography and graphic designing

● Videography and video editing.

Upper Age limit: 25 years

Payscale: Rs. 21,000/-

Contract Period: The appointment will purely be on contract basis, initially for one year, with a possibility of extension at the end of the term based on performance.

Work Location: CET, IIT Palakkad

 Selection Process: Interviews/Tests will be held immediately and the selected candidates are expected to join in the first/second week of September

 

2) Junior Technician (CET) (On Contract)

No. of Posts: 03

Desirable Qualification and Experience:  

● 3 years Diploma in Computer Science / Hardware Engineering (or) ITI

● 1 Year experience in relevant field after possessing required qualification

Job Profile: 

The principal duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Installation of Network components, Operating Systems, Peripherals, Trouble-shooting and maintenance of PCs. 

Upper Age limit: 25 years

Payscale: Rs. 21,000/-

Contract Period: Six months initially; likely to be continued based on performance

Work Location: CET, IIT Palakkad

 Selection Process: Shortlist based on resume, followed by written / practical exam, and interview.
