Job Description:

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include assisting with basic accounting tasks, data entry, and financial record maintenance. You will work closely with senior members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting while contributing to the overall success of the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in data entry and maintenance of financial records.
• Prepare and reconcile basic financial reports.
• Support senior accountants in daily tasks and month-end close processes.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
• Knowledge in ZOHO books is a plus.
