Job Description:

Drivecore is hiring Intern - Motor Control Embedded Software Development

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Duration: 3-6 Months

Stipend: Based on Skills & Performance

PPO: Available for Exceptional Performers

Qualification:

• Final-Year B.E./B.Tech (2027 Pass-Out) in EE/ECE/EEE/Mechatronics/Embedded Systems/Robotics/Related Fields

Skills:

• Solid Embedded C Fundamentals: Basic Exposure to STM32/TI C2000/NXP or Similar
• Understanding of Control Systems and Motor Fundamentals (BLDC/PMSM is a Plus)
• MATLAB/Simulink Exposure Preferred
• Strong Analytical Thinking, Self-Driven & Comfortable in Startup Environment

Preference:

• FOC/PI Controller Knowledge
• Git
• Python/MATLAB Scripting
• Arduino/ESP32 Hands-On Work
• Formula Student/BAJA/e-Yantra/Robotics Club Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Validate Motor Control Firmware (PMSM/PMaSynRM) - FOC, Clarke/Park Transforms, SVPWM
• Embedded C on ARM Cortex-M; Integrate ADC Current Sensing, Encoder/Hall Sensors
• Debug Firmware Using Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Bench Tools
• Support Motor Controller Bench Testing and Dyno Validation; Analyze Performance Data
• Assist Inverter Bring-Up and Hardware Troubleshooting
• Build/Simulate Control Models in MATLAB/Simulink
• Maintain Clean Documentation and Version Control (Git)
