Cognizant is hiring Analyst Trainee (2024 or 2025 Graduates)
Location: Pan India
Note: This role will be aligned to Multicloud or Digital Workplace Services or Integrated Smart Operations or IT practice based on candidate’s credentials & performance in the hiring process.
Analyst Trainee aligned to IT & Integrated Smart Operations (Job Details)
Eligibility criteria:
- Students who graduated in 2024 or 2025 with a three-year full-time degree (BCA, BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology (Allied Streams), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics) with minimum 60% in academics. (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed).
- Candidates must have a consistent academic record with a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, and UG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed).
- At the time of joining, recruits must have a minimum 60% aggregate in in the 3-year UG degree with no arrears.
- Appropriate CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered as per university norms.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in any given shift timing and technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals/OCIs currently residing in India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand relationships between tables and write queries to retrieve data from the database.
- Perform CRUD operations and write stored procedures based on a given Low-Level Design.
- Prepare test cases, scripts, and data, and execute both manual and automated tests.
- Analyze root causes and fix service tickets according to standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in tools related to IT Service Management and Data Analytics.
- Possess a strong drive to innovate and experiment in projects.
Analyst Trainee aligned to Multicloud (Job Details)

- Candidates from 2024 or 2025 batch of any 3-year UG degree (For e.g. BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, BCom, Bvoc, BMS, etc) with minimum 50% in academics. (rounding off 49.9% is not allowed).
- Candidates with standing arrears are NOT eligible.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and any technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals/OCIs who are currently residing in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs/Runbooks with an understanding of business impact.
- Adhere to customer security and compliance requirements.
- Follow customer communication etiquettes.
- Ensure stated productivity requirements for the engagement.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
- Participate proactively in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Act as a buddy for new hires.
- Adhere to organizational policies and processes (including Cognizant’s security policies, LP, timelines, etc.).
Role Expectations:
- Associate should be client-focused and able to work with users from different communities and cultures across the globe.
- Associate should be willing to work in a 24/7 environment and be open to relocating to any part of India based on project requirements.

- Night shift allowance will be paid by the project.

Analyst Trainee aligned to Digital Workplace Services (Job Details)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates from 2024 or 2025 batch of any 3-year UG degree (For e.g. BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, BCom, Bvoc, BMS, etc) with minimum 50% in academics. (rounding off 49.9% is not allowed).
- Students withstanding arrears are NOT eligible.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and any technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals/OCIs who are currently residing in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Log In and track all support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of problems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, performing diagnosis and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to enhance self-service options and facilitate efficient problem-solving.
Job Role Expectations:

- Ability to have flawless communication (verbal & written) with our clients and possess sound technical knowledge.
- Work in shifts and work from office.
