Cognizant is hiring Graphic Designer

Eligibility criteria:

• Graduates from 2024 and 2025 batch with a four-year degree in Design such as Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Master of Design (M.Des), Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA), Master of Visual Arts (MVA), Viscom (4-years), Mass Communication (4-years), MA, MSc from streams like Computer Graphics/Multimedia/Animation are invited to apply.
• Applicants must have a consistent academic record with a minimum of 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (rounding off 49.9% is not permitted), with no standing arrears.
• At the time of joining, all recruits must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their current degree with no standing arrears.
• Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per university norms.
• Applicants who have applied for re-evaluation and are awaiting results will be assessed based on the initially declared scores.
• Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in given shift timing and technology is mandatory.
• This opportunity is open to Indian nationals/OCIs currently residing in India.
• Applicants will receive all communications only on the registered email ID in Superset. This must be their personal email ID and will be considered the primary mode of communication. It should not be changed at any point during the hiring process or until onboarding as a Full-Time Employee (FTE).

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Strong understanding of visual design principles and digital media applications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related design software.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills from a design perspective. 
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. 
• Able to adapt and align to Gen AI tools 
• Additional Knowledge of game design, animation, video/audio editing, 3D, or Virtual Reality (VR) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop icons, illustrations, infographics, character designs, and content visualizations for client requirements 
• Create engaging motion graphics and video presentations with various design tools. 
• Apply principles of design, typography, and color theory to create compelling visuals. 
• Adapt designs across different media formats and social media. 
• Collaborate with teams to present and communicate design concepts effectively. 
• Stay updated with design trends, online creative communities, and social media platforms. 
• Work with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), MS PowerPoint, and Word. 

Job Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune

CTC: INR 400,000.00 per Annum
