Job Description:

Carbon Check is hiring GHG Assessor

Reporting to: Project Manager / Team Leader

Location: Kochi (Office based)

Roles and Responsibility:
• Desktop Review
• Site visit and conduct assessment
• Record and report the assessment
• Follow up assessment activities
• Follow-up Actions and Compliance Assurance Verification
• Resolve issue/findings identified during Tech review/EB.
• Maintain continuing professional development

Desired Skills:
• To be ethical, open-minded, observant, perceptive, versatile, tenacious, decisive, and self-reliant.
• Be able to use these to apply relevant auditing principles, procedures and techniques
• Plan and organize the work effectively and conduct the work within the agreed time schedule, to prioritise and focus on matters of significance;
• Collect information through effective interviewing, listening, observing and reviewing documents, records and data;
• Verify accuracy of collected information and confirm the sufficiency and appropriateness of gathered evidence to support audit findings and conclusions and prepare audit reports; and
• Communicate effectively, either through personal knowledge of the language or through help of an interpreter.
• The team members also need to apply any relevant knowledge understanding that they may have gained through education, work experience, auditor training and any CDM related experience.

Technical expertise:
• Formal education: Environmental Science, Forestry, Economics, Engineering.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in same domain is preferred.
