Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) is Conducting a Walk-In Interview

C-MET invites eligible and highly motivated candidates for Walk-in Interview to fill up the following temporary and time-bound positions under MeitY sponsored project titled “Establishment of process facilities for the pilot scale preparation of Nd, Pr metals, NdFeB alloy and magnets”.

Note: The positions are purely temporary and are co-terminus with the project duration (i.e., 19.06.2026).

Job Positions:

1. Project Fellow

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential:
  First class (60%) M.Sc. (Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics) with NET qualification
  OR
  First class (60%) B. Tech./B.E. (Chemical, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Instrumentation) with GATE qualification
   
• Desirable: R&D experience in research lab or industry
   
• Emoluments: 37,000/- + 27% HRA (Total 46,990/-) per month + 1 month basic towards medical expenses
   
• Total No. of Positions: 07
   
• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 11.09.2024

2. Project Staff Admin

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential: First class (60%) B. Com.
   
• Experience: 3 years work experience with good computer knowledge and MS-Office tools, well-versed with Administrative, Purchase Rules & Procedures including GeM Procurement and Accounts, etc.
   
• Emoluments: 20,000/- + 27% HRA (Total 25,400/-) per month + 1 month basic towards medical expenses
   
• Total No. of Positions: 02
   
• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 10.09.2024

Age Limit:

• Maximum 28 years on the date of the walk-in interview
  (Relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories)

Venue: 

• C-MET, Hyderabad (C-MET, Hyderabad is situated in Cherlapally area and it is connected by Bus Route from Secunderabad & Tarnaka: 250C.)

Registration for Walk-in-Interview:

• Between 09.00 Hrs. to 10.00 Hrs. on respective dates.

Important Instructions:

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
   
• Candidates are expected to bring their application in the prescribed format and produce an original educational mark sheet & cast certificate, etc., at the time of screening. In case the certificates/mark sheets etc. have not been collected from colleges/present employer etc., a custodian certificate from the respective authorities should invariably be produced to the Screening Committee at the time of verification of certificates, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview.
