Job Description:

An International University in East Africa is hiring Lecturer - Visual Effects, Animation & Multimedia Systems

Location: Kampala City, Uganda (East Africa)

Institution: International University (Indian Backing)

Pay Package: Up to ₹1.8 Lakh per Month

Teaching Areas:

The candidate will be responsible for teaching and supervising the following courses:

• Graphics and Multimedia Systems
• Concepts of 3D Modeling & Texturing (Practical 3D Graphics)
• FX & Simulation
• Game Programming
• Graphics and Film Making
• Motion Design (Adobe After Effects)
• Digital Compositing & Rotoscopy
• Foundations of Visual Effects and Animation
• Dissertation/Portfolio Development

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree: Animation, VFX, Multimedia, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or Film Production.
• Bachelor’s Degree: Related discipline (Animation, CS, IT, Film, etc.).
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant teaching or industry experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in one or more of the following:

• Blender/Maya/3ds Max
• Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro
• Photoshop/Illustrator
• Nuke/Fusion/Houdini FX
• Unity/Unreal Engine
• Substance Painter/Designer

Competencies:

• Strong creative and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to guide practical studio-based learning
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Research and innovation orientation
• Ability to mentor student projects and portfolios

Preferred Profile:

• Industry certifications in relevant software & tools.
• Strong industry exposure in VFX, gaming, or digital film production.
• Ability to mentor student portfolios and guide studio-based learning.
