AAI Cargo Logistics & Allied Services Company Limited (AAICLAS), a 100% subsidiary of Airports Authority of India, is hiring 158 Security Screeners (Fresher) on Fixed Term Contract at 6 Major Airports across India.

• Patna: 37 openings
• Udaipur: 34 openings
• Trichy: 28 openings
• Kolkata: 25 openings
• Dehradun: 17 openings
• Calicut: 17 openings

Note: These numbers are tentative. You can only apply for a single location, but you can still be posted to any station across India based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screening cargo and in-line hold baggage (ILHBS) using X-ray and technical screening equipment.
• Identifying suspicious objects and handling airport/cargo security functions.

Physical Requirements: Must possess good physical strength, sharp vision, clear hearing, strong communication skills, and the ability to easily recognize objects highlighted on X-ray screens.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As of May 1, 2026):

• Maximum Age: 27 Years (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit is Applicable For Reserved Categories)

Educational Qualifications:

• General/OBC/EWS: Graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
• SC/ST: Graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.

Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible.

Language Skills: Ability to read and speak English, Hindi, and/or the local language of your chosen posting station.

Mobility: Candidates must be completely willing to serve anywhere in India. If you are not willing to move, the notification explicitly states you should not apply.

Training Timeline After Joining

1. Phase 1: AVSEC Induction Course - 5 Days (Conducted by BCAS-approved ASTIs).

2. Phase 2: On-the-Job Training (OJT) - 3 Months (Conducted by Civil Aviation Security Operations at Airport/RA).

3. Phase 3: AVSEC Basic Course - 14 Days (Conducted by BCAS-approved ASTIs).

4. Phase 4: OJT on Security Equipment  - 1 Month/Minimum 40 hours (Under guidance at the airport).

5. Phase 5: Screener’s Pre-Certification Course - 3 Days (RA or ILHBS at an approved ASTI).

6. Phase 6: Testing & Certification - 2 Days (Standalone testing conducted directly by BCAS).

Salary, Perks & Contract Terms

Compensation Structure:

• Training/Pre-Certification Period: ₹15,000 per month

  • Note: Drops to ₹10,000 per month if you fail the training on your first attempt. The fixed-term contract is completely terminated if you fail the second attempt.

• First Year (Post-Certification): ₹30,000 per month

• Second Year: ₹32,000 per month

• Third Year: ₹34,000 per month

Additional Benefits:

• Provident Fund (PF): ₹1,800 per month employer contribution.
• Medical Insurance: Reimbursement up to ₹10,000 per year.
• Gratuity: Provided as per the standard Gratuity Act.
• Travel Allowances (TA/DA): Provided for official tours, equivalent to 3-tier AC rail fare.

Annual Leave Entitlement:

• Privilege Leave: 18 days
• Half Pay Leave (Sick Leave): 12 days
• Casual Leave: 9 days
• Restricted Holidays: 2 days

1. Step 1: Shortlisting - Based strictly on your numeric graduation percentage.

2. Step 2: Online Interview - An interaction round for shortlisted candidates.

3. Step 3: Medical Test - Checks physical fitness, vision, color blindness, and X-ray object recognition.

4. Step 4: Document Verification - Final review of certificates, age proof, and eligibility.

5. Step 5: Surety Bond - Execution and submission of the mandatory service bond.

6. Step 6: Joining on Stipend - Official induction at the training pay of ₹15,000/month.

7. Step 7: Training & BCAS Certification - Completion of aviation security courses and clearing the BCAS exam.
