A Reputed Firm is hiring Chemist - R&D (Construction Chemicals)

Industry: A Reputed Waterproofing Chemical Manufacturing Industry

Location: Malappuram

Qualification: MSc in Polymer Chemistry or higher

Experience: 

• An Experienced R&D Chemist with a Minimum of 5 Years in Construction Chemical R&D and a Strong Foundation in Polymer Chemistry

Salary: 7.2 LPA - 10.2 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and customizing polymer blends (PP, PE, PVC, composites).
• Conducting tests using DSC, FTIR, TGA, UTM, Rheometers, and analyzing results.
• Translating lab formulations to plant-scale production.
• Performing QC tests, ensuring ISO/BIS/ASTM compliance, and handling CAPA.
• Supporting plant trials, troubleshooting production issues, and monitoring extrusion/molding performance.
• Preparing documentation like SOPs, TDS, MSDS, and maintaining GMP standards.
• Collaboration with marketing/product teams and working knowledge of ERP/SAP, Six Sigma, ISO, TPM is preferred.
