Job Description:

ODEPC (a govt agency) organising & recruiting for a Famous Automobile Centre in Oman

AUTO MECHANICS

Job  : To service, repair and maintenance of wide range of passenger cars and individual components. To undertake and diagnose the routine faults.

• Capable of doing unit overhauls (Engine – Diesel or petrol) / Manual & Automatic transmission / drive train system etc. Basic knowledge / ability to attend minor electrical AC complaints on vehicles.
• Reading& understanding of wiring diagrams.
• Ability to repair suspension brake, Clutch systems etc.
• Knowledge on modern diagnostic tools to find faults on automobile systems

Qualification  : ITI / Diploma from Govt/ Govtapproved institutes

Age  : 25-30 years

Experience  : Minimum 5 years of experience in service, repairs and maintenance of passenger cars with reputed automobile dealers’ workshops or authorized service centers. Candidates having above skills with lesser experience can also be considered.

 

AUTO ELECTRICIANS

 Job  : To service, repair and maintenance of electrical and individual components of passenger Car. To undertake and diagnose the routine faults.

Qualification  : ITI / Diploma from Govt/ Govtapproved institutes

Age  : 25-30 years

Experience  : Minimum 5 years of experience in service, repairs and maintenance of electrical systems of passenger Car with reputed automobile dealers’ workshops or authorized service centers.  Knowledge of systems on latest vehicles will be added advantage.

 

DENTOR / SPRAY PAINTER

 Job  : To handle body repair / painting

 Qualification  : ITI from Govt/ Govtapproved institutes; candidates with relevant experience without qualification shall also be considered

 Age  : 25-30 years

Experience  : Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with reputed automobile dealers’ workshops or authorized service centers. Experience in handling body repair equipment like chassis aligner, mig welder, washer welder, etc. / experience in metallic paint mixing & paint booth usage.

 

General Criteria for all positions

• Candidates having overall experience in the respective fields only will be considered.
• Should be able to work independently, without any supervision.
• Only Passenger care experienced candidates will be considered
• Working Knowledge of English (speaking- little bit, Writing & understanding) is a must
