Job Description:

Freight Connect is hiring Executive - Procurement/Sourcing

Location: Eramangalam Near Guruvayoor - Kerala

Experience: 2-3 Years

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify & evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring adherence to company procurement policies.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes, conduct bid evaluations, and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
• Procure goods, materials, and services while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments to support procurement operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements using procurement best practices.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth payment processing.
• Prepare purchase orders, order schedules, and daily activity reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
• Ability to analyze bids, evaluate vendors, and implement procurement strategies.
